Built by People Who Shaped the Internet
Our story starts with decades of hands-on experience building the high-reliability systems that keep the internet running. Our founder, Taren Patterson, spent his career as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, serving as Verizon Wireless' lead technical liaison at Tekelec/Oracle, and holds U.S. Patent 8,750,825 for systems optimization. He's worked across every major era of networking — from early digital switching and broadband to content delivery, 5G policy systems, and large-scale data architecture at companies like Oracle, Nortel, and Santera Systems.
That deep infrastructure DNA is the reason Veritas exists. We treat unverified or drifting data the same way carrier-grade networks treat corrupted packets — we simply don't allow it. Every profile is owner-verified, timestamped, and sovereign. The result? A trust layer that AI agents can rely on at a structural level.
